ION Battery Resources Ltd is a new holding company seeking transformational metal discoveries to supply the battery industry.

Lithium: Authier North

Located proximal (800 m) from Sayona Mining’s Authier lithium project which hosts a JORC (Joint Ore Reserves Committee) compliant resource of 17.1 Mt at 1.01% Li₂O (Lithium Oxide).

ION have identified two possible target areas on the property;

• A northern target, focussing on the potential extension of the pegmatite which hosts Sayona Mining’s Authier lithium project
• An eastern target, focussing on potential further occurrences of lithium pegmatites along the perimeter of the La Motte Batholith.

Very little historical exploration has taken place on the property, but previous operators have identified elevated lithium and nickel in boreholes and ‘grab’ samples of up to 0.42% Cr₂0₃ (Chromium Oxide), and 0.21% Nickel).
